atmos version track apply
Update version references in your project files to match the lock file. Use this command to keep workflows, configuration, and generated files aligned with the dependency versions you have selected.
The file managers rewrite paths configured in version.files using values from the lock file. The alias is sync.

File Managers
github-actions- Scans workflow files for
uses:lines and rewrites refs from the lock byowner/repopackage. marker- Rewrites version tokens on lines annotated with
<comment> atmos:version <name> [match=<regex>]. json- Writes locked values into JSON files at configured field paths, preserving formatting and key order.
yaml- Writes locked values into YAML files at configured field paths, preserving comments, anchors, and key order.
template- Renders
*.tmplfiles to sibling files with the.tmplsuffix stripped, using the.versioncontext.

Flags
--check- Fail without writing when managed files are out of date. Intended for CI.
--dir- Root directory to resolve managed paths from. Defaults to the current directory.
--manager- Limit the run to the named file managers. Repeat the flag for multiple managers.
Examples
# Rewrite every configured managed file from the lock
atmos version track apply prod
# CI: fail if any managed file is stale
atmos version track apply prod --check
# Only rewrite GitHub Actions workflow refs
atmos version track apply prod --manager=github-actions
